Man about Murfreesboro
Mike Reed's journal coverage of the 2000 Presidential Election has been consistently interesting and informative. Start with the entries around November the 7th, and work your way on. This is where my election coverage is coming from!

Blue Mountains wins world heritage status
The Blue Mountains today became Australia's 14th natural wonder to gain world heritage recognition.
Fabulous! I've been to the Blue Mountains a few times, visiting Sydney, and they're gorgeous. World Heritage listing will hopefully mean they'll be taken care of so and kept that way.

Study: Men Listen With Half of Brain
It's not the listening with half the brain that I object to, it's the not listening at all that I have a problem with. Amanda-button, do you think?

Salon.com Technology | Life, death and Everquest
and this.
This is pretty fucked up, you know? Not Gamers per se, but the main situation behind this, a couple manipulating people and then killing "themselves", killing a persona that for all intents was real. This hasn't happened to me, but if it did, I'd be Furious. There's a difference between pretending to be someone, and then killing that someone off, that's just, just Bad!
Digging a little further and finding out people have marriages online, in the virtual worlds, that aren't related to their real life marriages, I find that a little disturbing too.

User Profile for UBB pamie.com
Interesting. I think this is the case with the other UBB forums out there too. I found myself indexed on Google/Yahoo, searching under my name, Amanda Page. I always considered my posts to these lists to be public, this just reinforces that idea. I'm stilla Squishite, btw, only posted twice. I don't do forums so much, I like reading journals more, if I'm using the time, journals will get it.

Something about the paragraph at the bottom tells me N'Sync has started to believe their own publicity just a little too much. Guys? Two words. Leif Garret.
